Yoshinogari Keitai-Guide
This structure was discovered at the front of the Northern Burial Mound. The axis of this small six-pillared building is the same as that of the Northern Burial Mound. This suggests that it is an institution where daily offerings and prayers were made to the ancestral spirits. Because it had this function, the structure was built with only side walls so that there would be an unobstructed view of the Northern Burial Mound.
