Interactive Workshops

Various ancient activities such as ringing the DOUTAKU and handling reproduced Yayoi earthen ware can found throughout the Park as well as a number of interactive workshops. For a list of available workshops.

Earthen Flute making

Time:45 min.
Cost:100 yen/person
Note:Last class is 1 hour and 30 min prior to the Park's closing

Stone pendant making [KOUROUSEKI (soft stone)]

Time:1 hours
Cost:200 yen or 250 yen/person
Note:Last class is 1 hour and 30 min. prior to the Park's closing

Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 30 minutes prior to the Park's closing.
Application times vary, so please check the daily schedule.
Please apply and pay on the day of visiting.
Tour groups need to apply in advance.
Fire-making programs are limited to 30 minutes. Programs may be cancelled due to rain.
Alternative programs will be made available.
Glass bead making programs require adult supervision for children in third grade of primary school and younger.

Workshops are available on a first come first serve basis. There is no guarantee that all members of a group can participate in the same workshop.
